Dear Mr Smith

Please let me take this opportunity to ask you to clarify your position on the following:

  • If elected leader of the British Labour Party will you create an English Labour Party so equal treatment can be assured for English Labour members? (For example: an English Labour Party would work alongside the already created Scottish and Welsh Labour Parties ).
  • If elected leader of the British Labour Party will you commit and also actively campaign for the creation of an English First Minister so equality can be assured for English citizens within the UK? (For example: An English Minister would need to have comparable powers to the Welsh First Minister, the Scottish First Minister and the Northern Irish First Minster)
  • If elected leader of the British Labour Party will you commit to abolishing the Barnett Formula and creating a new ‘needs based system’ that treats all the citizens of the UK equally?

Kind Regards
